ABOUT AKCSE
Association of Korean-Canadian Scientists and Engineers (AKCSE) is a non-profit organization established in 1986. AKCSE was founded to support Korean-Canadian scientists and engineers, promote cooperation in research and technology between Korea and Canada, and help young students develop their full career potential.
WHO WE ARE
AKCSE Young Generation (YG) National is a national organization that represents Korean-Canadian science and engineering undergraduate students across Canada. It was established in 2013 to support young generation scientists and engineers, and facilitate sustainable networking among them. YG National oversees and support 16 university school chapters in Canada, and provides unique opportunities that promote student leadership and connect different school chapters and their students. YG AKCSE members are also eligible to apply to CKC-YG, Young Generation Forum, Korean government Research Institute internship and KCSSF scholarship.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the YG National is to support and connect YG school chapters, provide networking opportunities, and support personal and professional development for Korean-Canadian science and engineering students across Canada.
