Year 2016-2017 was very successful for the University of Manitoba’s student chapter. Healing camp with the Korean professors guided many students to make wise choices in their lives. Additionally, we have implemented different format for this year’s networking night by introducing longer free-talking time between the speakers and the attendees. The feedbacks were absolutely positive. Finally, the study room hosted by the senior students could be improved by bringing more first and second year students. The primary goal of our chapter is to bring more student members and make our group the biggest Korean student group in the city. We are planning to host more academic events that attract both high school and university students.
