Since Dalhousie University is the only school in Atlantic Canada actively engaged in AKCSE, our goal for the chapter is to introduce this association to many Korean-Canadian scientific and engineering communities in other Maritime regions. In the past year, our chapter recruited Korean-Canadian scientists and engineers at the beginning of the academic year by holding fall orientation event, annual general meeting, and the seminar held by guest professor from Korea. We empowered the network between YP and YG and provided members beneficial assistance by organizing mentorship program, membership training workshop and an open event called “The Genius”. Also, YG members had an opportunity to be acquainted with each other by having an active discussion about 4th industrial Revolution supported by KOSEN organization. Our chapter successfully cooperated with Korean-Canadian communities by assisting multicultural event and national math and science competition for young students from Atlantic region.
