2018-2019 YGN President Election

DEADLINE: June 17, 2018 4:00PM EST 

YGN President Runner eligibility:

• Either 1) the outgoing (current) or incoming (next) president of a local school chapter or 2) current YGN executive

• Must be an undergraduate student at the time of presidency

Voter eligibility:

• Either 1) the outgoing (current) president of a local school chapter or 2) current YGN executive

• Chapters with co-presidents may discuss who they would like to vote for, but are permitted a single vote only. Please arrange so that only one person signs up to vote

Process:

• Please submit a cover letter with your name, affiliation, program and academic year to ygakcse@gmail.com by June 17, 2018 @ 11:59 PM EST. Your letter will be published on the YGN website, where eligible voters may vote until June 22nd, 2018 @ 4:00 PM EST. The upcoming YGN president will be announced on the same evening.

• Please include in your letter your academic and/or personal background, experiences in AKCSE, why you would like to become the YGN president, and your vision as the potential president.

• If there is only a single candidate running for the position, the format of the vote will change to “yes” or “no”. If the majority of the voters vote “no”, then the current YGN president will continue the term regardless of his/her eligibility.
